Joseph Louis Bardino HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Joseph Louis Bardino, 88, of Hopewell Junction, formerly of Whiting, N.J., died Tuesday June 29, 2004 at Northern Dutchess Hospital. Mr. Bardino was a bus driver for the Wappingers Central School District. He served in the United States Army from 1935 to 1945. Born Feb. 4, 1916 in Marion, Ohio, he was the son of Louis and Virginia Spina Bardino. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Mainieri Bardino; a brother, James Bardino of Whiting, N.J.; two sisters, Helen Bardino and Flo Bardino both of Jersey City, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Nicholas Bardino. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m., Friday, at the McHoul Funeral Home Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Saturday, at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Rd., Hopewell Junction. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Denis Cemetery.
