WILLOUGHBY, Ohio Donald Robert (Beushausen) Boyce, 85, of Willoughby, formerly of Loup City, Neb., died Oct. 11, 2003, in Willoughby.
Graveside services will be at noon Friday at Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City with the Rev. Barbara Spangler officiating.
Higgins Funeral Home in Loup City is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Loup City to Charles and Nellie (Hawk) Beushausen. In 1958, he changed his last name to Boyce.
Survivors include his wife, Betty (DeJarnette-Sommer); son, Donald Jr. of Kensington, Md.; daughters, Haidee Mechtly of Atlanta, Ga., Maggie of Oakland, Calif., Jinkie of Blue Lake, Calif., and Polly Stuckey of Orient, Ohio; eight
grandchildren; stepson, Randy Sommer of Los Angeles; stepdaughters, Marsha Gilmore of Holden, Mo., and Barbara Walter of Overland Park, Kan.; and two step-grandchildren.
