Nellie Mae Johnson, 88, Trinity Manor Apartments, died at 4 p.m. Thursday at Manor Care at Sycamore Glen in Miamisburg. Born on March 23, 1908 in Seymour, Texas, she had been a Middletown resident since 1933. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Christian Church of Middletown, Jolly Sixties of Grace Baptist Church and the Middletown Area Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark Warland and Ella Mae (Fletcher) Randal; husband, Burnice M. Johnson in 1943; husband, Ellis Johnson in 1963; husband, Stephen Johnson in 1975; a son, Raymond M. Johnson; a daughter, Fannie Mae Johnson and six brothers and sisters. Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter-in-law, Dorinda Johnson, of Arlington, Texas; four sons and their wives, Herbert L. and Vivian Johnson, of Camby, Ind., Jerry Edward and Shirley Johnson, of Centerville, Ohio, David and Anita Johnson, of Gratis and Ellis R. and Mary Johnson, of Middletown; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fay Randal, of Houston, Texas, and Clyde Randal, of Weeki-Wachee, Fla; and one sister, Jean Bailey, of Oxnard, Calif.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Joseph R. Baker Funeral Home with Carol Oetzel officiating. Internment will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
