Miss Elsie ‘Estelle' Lineberry, 88, of 1971-F Deep Creek Church Road, Burlington, died Friday, May 17, at Alamance County Hospital after four years of failing health and a critical illness of three weeks. A native of Alamance County, she was a retired home-maker and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Callie Roney of Burlington; and one brother, Archie Lineberry of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas and Jenny Blanchard Lineberry; two sisters, Miss Florence Lineberry and Mrs. Minnie Stale [sic]; and four brothers, Ralph Lineberry, M. A. ‘Pete' Lineberry, Otis Lineberry and Ernest Lineberry. The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. James Moon and the Rev. Carlton Wilson. Burial will be in McCray Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
