A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Paul Thadeus Hopkins and the daughter of Mr. Morris Alexander "Pete" Lineberry and Mrs. Cordia Lou Matkins Lineberry, both deceased. A homemaker, she was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Hopkins Carson of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Shirley Lineberry Stadler of Burlington and Mrs. Bill (Frances) Lineberry Ingold of Graham; a brother, Mr. William Lineberry of Burlington; and three grand-stepchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Herbert Lineberry and Mr. Wilkins Lineberry.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Burlington by Elder Wallis Smith and the Rev. Carton Wilson. Burial will be in McCray Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8:30 Tuesday evening and at other times at the home.
