A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late William Thomas and Anna Austin Teague. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was the wife of Clovie C. Jones, who died in 1975 and Ennies E. King, who died in 1990.
Surviving are two daughters, Aileen Black of Charleston and Carleen Jordan of Candler; a brother, Dennis Teague of Leicester; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, August 30, 1991 in Jones Valley Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery
