Virginia Sue "Bobbie" Garrison, 72, died Sunday, August 5, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Dayton. She was born December 22, 1939 in Dayton to the late Arvil Lee and Mammie (Dotson) Fraley. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Fraley and Buck Fraley.

A lifelong resident of Dayton, she was a graduate of Rhea Central High School. She retired from La-Z-Boy after many years and was active with the Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by her son, John (Lisa) Garrison of Dayton; daughters, Penny (Tommy) Everett of Pikeville, Tenn. and Candi (Scott) Owensby of Dayton; three grandsons, Tate and Tanner Everett of Pikeville, Tenn. and Michael Garrison of Dayton; brothers, R.C. (Dot) Fraley of Soddy Daisy, Tenn. and Malcolm Fraley; sisters, Nola (Bernard) Bishop, Alberta (Bill) McSpaden, Aileen Pritchett and Louise (Bob) Cornett, all of Dayton; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services for Bobbie will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home with Brother Bob Carroll officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her parents in the Brown Cemetery.
