In this city,(Boise) Sunday morning, May 18, 1879, of bronchitis, Spencer Albro, aged about forty years.
Deceased was a notive of the state of New York, and came to Boise Basin in 1863, where he has since resided. He was universally esteemed as an industrious, upright and worthy citizen of exemplary life, and enjoyed an untarnished reputation among the people who so long knew and loved him. He was the intimate personal friend of the late Samuel Stewart and of his former associate in business, Mr. Dryden McClintock, of Idaho City.
On Saturday last Mr. Albro drove the stage from Idaho City to this place and was soon after his arrival taken with the return of an old complaint from which he had suffered for several years. All that the best medical skill and the attention of kind friends could do was done, but in vain. After suffering all night he passed away from earth about 7 o'clock Sunday morning. Late in the afternoon of Sunday the remains were placed in a neat casket and were taken to Idaho city for burial, where they now repose by the side of those of his old and esteemed friend, Sam Stewart.
No Stone found.
