Mrs. Pat Young, age 66, of Tyler died Thursday, December 18, 1997 in a Tyler hospital.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel, Noonday with Rev. Jessie Morton, officiating.

Burial was in Tyler Memorial Park under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Wayne Maxwell, Danny Cook, Kenny Cook, Lee Richards, Roy Lee Richards, Ronny Greens Jeff Murphy and Shilo Young.

Honorary pallbearers were Ken Alexander, Ricky Helms and Richard Linsey.

Born April 26, 1931 in Rule and a previous resident of Wellington until 1947, (she would have graduated with the Wellington High School Class of 1949) she lived numerous years in Tyler. A member of the Primitive Baptist, she retired as manager of the dining room at Willow Brook Country Club, where she worked for 19 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Young, of Flint. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Teddy Earl and Irish Young and Danny Ray Young, all of Tyler, daughters and sons-in-law, Edwina and Lonnie Moyer and Leanne and Don Davis, all of Tyler; four grandchildren, Shilo and Stacey Young, Laura Moyer and William Young; and one great-grandchild, Kaitlyn Young.
