Funeral Conducted for Biddle W Allen
Services for Retired Realty Dealer Held at Residence
Funeral services for Biddle Wilkinson Allen, retired real estate dealer, who died Saturday morning at his residence, 1219 Jefferson Ave, were conducted Saturday afternoon at the residence. Interment was in Metairie cemetery. Mr. Allen was 58 years old.
A native of New Orleans, Mr. Allen was at one time connected with steamship business and for a time he operated his own firm. Later he entered the real estate field where he was actively engaged for about six years. Mr. Allen was chosen a delegate to the constitutional convention from the Fourth Ward in 1921.
He is survived by his widow, the former Miss Virginia Hill Woods; two sons, Biddle W Allen Jr, and Woods Allen; one daughter, Miss Virginia Allen; two brothers, Henry and Robert Allen, and a sister, Mrs Robert R Ellis, Havana, Cuba.
