Rhoda Jane (Moore) Hunt, daughter of W. A. and Mary Ann Moore, was born December 6, 1864, departed this life April 17, 1934, age 69 years, 4 months and 11 days. She was united in marriage with W. R. Hunt Mar., 22, 1888, and to this union were born eight children--May of Charleston, W. Va., Walter of Evans, Eather, Earl and Anthony of Cottageville, Hurshel of Millwood and Ann of Charleston, W. Va. One son, Jobie, having preceded her to the Great Beyond. Besides her husband and children, she leaves to mourn their loss two brothers, W. T. and Scott Moore of Evans, two sisters, Mrs. E. V. Jones off Liberty, W. Va., and Mrs. Esther Stevens of Cleveland, Ohio, eighteen grand children and a host of relatives and friends. She was converted and was baptized a number of years ago, and lived a faithful Christian until the end. She had been in failing health for the past few years, but bore her suffering patiently until the end. She was a kind and loving mother, a good neighbor and always willing to lend a helping hand in sickness and trouble. She will be greatly missed in the home, and by all who knew her.
