Paul L. Rawdon, 55, superintendent of the Continental Refinery and prominent Glenrock resident, died in his sleep at his home in Glenrock on June 18, 1952. Death was attributed to a heart condition. Mr. Rawdon was born August 10, 1896 at Thayer, Mo., the son of Luther and Hettie Rawdon. He was married to Miss Florence Crossman on August 1, 1916 at Newkirk, Mo., and to this union four children were born: Paul C., who was killed in action in Sicily, July 1, 1943, in World War II; Mary (Mrs. Harlan Fauss) of Albuquerque; Donald F. (Allen) of Billings; and Robert Bruce of Glenrock.

Mr. Rawdon was transferred here in 1933 as a resident engineer for the Continental Oil Co. He held that position for several years and later served as assistant superintendent for a brief time before being name superintendent in July, 1947. He had been an employee of Continental Oil Co. since Sept. 1, 1922.

In addition to Mrs. Rawdon and three children, survivors include four grandchildren and one brother, Leslie Rawdon of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
