BERTHA (BRAMMER) MACKINSON

Bertha Mackinson, 99, a resident of Humision Haven Nursing Home, Pontiac, and formerly of Forrest, died at 8:26 a.m. Tuesday. Oct. 28. 1986 at the nursing home. Her funeral will be at 10:30 am. Friday at Culkin-Diggle Ftineral Home, Forrest. the Rev. Timothy Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Chatsworth cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. She was born Sep. 25, 1887, in Lawrence county, Ohio, a daughter of Henry Lee and Dora Milstead Brammer. She married James P. Mackinson on Sept 23., 1909, inChatsworth. He died May 2,1973. Survivors include one daughter, Mildred Wofford, Santa Fe. N.M.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Mackinson was a member of the Forrest United Methodist church and Uniled Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Forrest American Legion Auxiliary. Memorials may be made to Humiston Haven or the Forrest Township Library.
