Esmeralda "Gonzo" Gonzalez Tucker, 48, of Lewisburg, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Murfreesboro.

Ms. Tucker was a native of San Antonio, Texas. She served her country in the Army and was employed by Kantus Corporation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederico Gonzalez Sr. and Angelita Avila Gonzalez; ex-husband, Jimmy Tucker; and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Tucker Brown, and grandson, Raven Brown, both of Fort Knox, Ky.; and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services with military honors were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 24, from the chapel of London Funeral Home. Ms. Tucker's body was cremated following the services.

Marker is on James Aaron Tucker's grave. There was no burial. Her ashes were scattered on his grave.
