Mrs. Sernetta J. McCoy, pioneer Chicagoan and the widow of William McCoy, owner of the McCoy hotel properties, died yesterday in her home at 5640 South Park Avenue. Mrs. McCoy was born in 1854 in a house on old 4th Avenue, between Taylor and Polk Streets. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles D. Kane and Miss Ella F. McCoy, and two sons, Frank H. and William E. McCoy. Funeral services will be held on Monday from the residence to St. Anne's church. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
