Beattyville - Robert Spencer, 65, died at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday at his home at Zoe. He was a retired oil field worker, a World War I veteran and a member of the Zoe Church of God.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Spencer; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Woodell, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Betty Cash, Middletown, Ohio; four sons, Orville Spencer, Hebron; Edward and Bill Spencer, Cincinnati, and Roy Spencer, Covington; four brothers, Logan Spencer, Detroit, Mich.; Frank Spencer, Cincinnati; Ace Spencer, Austin, Ind., and Clarence Spencer, Bradford, Ohio.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Zoe First Church of God by the Rev. W. W. Brewer. Burial will be in the Spencer Cemetery. The body is at the Newnam Funeral Home.
