Husband of Former Manitowoc Resident Dies At Aurora, Ill.
Messages received in the city yesterday told of the death at Aurora, Ill., of
Jess Zimmerman, husband of a former Manitowoc resident, who before her marriage
to Mr. Zimmerman was Christine Michelson. The remains will be brought to Manitowoc
tonight on the limited train and taken to the Frazier Mortuary, Ninth and Chicago
street, from where the funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at ten o'clock
in charge of Rev. R. B. Walden, of the St. Paul's Lutheran church.
The deceased was about 72 years of age and is survived by his widow who will
accompany the remains to the city.

Jesse was the son of John Zimmerman and Leah Hartzog. His first wife was Annetta E. "Nettie" Meek, and they were the parents of Charles E. Zimmerman and Pearl (married Michael Peres Dix).
