NICK ZIMMER

Nick Zimmer, 70, retired machinist, died Friday evening at his home, Rt. 4,
Manitowoc, following a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Clement P. Kern will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Zimmer was born in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids June 29, 1889, son of the
late Nick and Anna Lambrie Zimmer. A township resident throughout his life, he
married Agnes Rudolph April 17, 1917. Before retiring five years ago he was
employed 47 years as a machinist by Manitowoc Engineering Corp. He was a member
of Machinists Local No. 516 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Rudolph of Manitowoc; three brothers, William
and Peter of Manitowoc and Ed of Marinette; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Sieracki
and Mrs. Paul Mrozinski of Manitowoc; two grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will
be recited at 7 p.m.
