Mrs. Frank A. Yindra, 67, nee Mary Meidel, of 855 North 12th street, died late
Wednesday at Holy Family hospital, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Yindra home and at
10:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic church.
Officiating at the solemn high mass will be the Rev. E. A. Radey, the Rev. Kenneth
Rodgers, and the Rev. Martin Jaeckels. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Yindra was born in the town of Franklin in 1882 and was married to Frank
Yindra in 1903. The couple moved to Manitowoc after their marriage. Mr. Yindra
died five years ago.
Survivors are a daughter, Miss Ann, teaching in Sheboygan; son, Atty. Francis
Yindra of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. John Kohl of Green Bay, Mrs. A.C. Knutson,
Mrs. G.J. Knutson, and Mrs. William Hartwig of Racine; six grandchildren. Three
sons and three daughters preceded their mother in death.
Mrs. Yindra was a member of the Holy Innocents Altar society and the Women's Relief
corps.
The casket will be moved from the Pfeffer funeral home to the Yindra home to lie in
state after 8 o'clock this evening until time of services.
The rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Friday by the Altar society and the Daughter
of Isabella and at 8 p.m. Friday by the Knights of Columbus.
