ANNA WANISH

Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Wanish, 86, formerly of Maribel, died Friday morning,
Nov. 21, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. Deacon William Klein will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Wanish was born May 16, 1894, in the Town of Franklin, Manitowoc County,
daughter of the late Matt and Anna Nemetz Wattawa. She was educated at Taus.
She was married to Joseph Wanish Sept. 3, 1911, at Kellnersville. He preceded
her in death July 1, 1959.
Survivors include two sons, Richard L. and Leonard F. of Maribel; a daughter,
Mrs. Viola E. Manlick of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Christina Ziarnik of Manitowoc;
two grandchildren (private); two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Anna Opichka of Manitowoc,
Mrs. Anne Wattawa of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur in
1979 and Clarence in 1919, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday and Monday until the hour of service.
