Mrs. Clara Traurig, 92, of Shady Lane Home, died Sunday evening, June 21, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by the Rev. Leo J. Schmitt and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Traurig, nee Clara Rheaume, was born June 26, 1888, at Lewiston, Maine, daughter of the late Napoleon and Olivine Cote Rheaume. She had been a Manitowoc resident since 1952. She was married to G. Frank Granger of Lynn, Mass. He preceded her in death in 1952. She was married to John A. Traurig of Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1972. Mrs. Traurig was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law William W. and Mary F. Granger and a step-son, Elmer Traurig of Manitowoc; two brothers, Albert Rheaume of Lakeland, Fla., and Arthur Rheaume of Lynn, Mass.; grandchildren, William F. and Kim Granger of Manitowoc, Susan C. Granger of Boston, Mass.; and Sara C. Granger of Westport, Conn., and two great grandchildren, Matthew and Ethan Granger of Manitowoc. A brother, William Rheaume, preceded her in death in 1960.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening. A prayer service will be 8 o'clock by Deacon Donald Gigure.
