WALLIE R. TOLLEFSON

HURT 3 YEARS AGO; ENGINEER PASSES AWAY
Wallie R. Tollefson, 59, victim of a bad accident aboard a dredge of the Waterway
Engineering Co. at Green Bay three years ago, and from which he never recovered,
passed away last night at the home, 856 North Eleventh street. He suffered a stroke
a few weeks ago and failed gradually until the end came last night.
Burial will take place Saturday afternoon at two from the home on North Eleventh
street in charge of the Rev. D. G. Ristad with interment at Evergreen cemetery. The
Odd Fellows of which Mr. Tollefson was a member will have charge of the services at
the grave.
The deceased was born in this city, the son of early Norwegian settlers in Manitowoc
and always made his home here, except in periods when his duties as a dredge engineer
took him to other cities. He never married.
Three sisters, Mrs. Carl M. Jacobson, Chicago, Mrs. George S. Kelley, Royalton, Wis.,
and Mrs. George Danforth of SIxous Falls, S.D., and one brother, Edward of Chicago
survive.
The remains will be removed to the home tomorrow from the Frazier mortuary.
