Mrs. Tills, the former Olive H. Mueller, was born March 7, 1896, in the Town of
Kossuth, daughter of the late Otto and Mary Foerster Mueller. She was married to
Mr. Tills June 2, 1915, at Rockwood Lutheran Church and after their marriage
they resided at Tillsdale Holstein farm at Rockwood and in 1947 moved to
Manitowoc. She was educated in Manitowoc schools and was a graduate of the
Manitowoc Business College. Mr. Tills was an organist for more than 35 years at
the Rockwood church and had been a music teacher for eight years. She was a
member of the Manitowoc Womans Club, the Ladies Bible Class of the Rockwood and
Manitowoc First German Evangelical Lutheran churches, the Ladies Krentzen Club
of the churches, and Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include the husband; a son, the Rev. Delton J., of Peshtigo; a
daughter, Mrs. Elton (Lolita) Dummann, of Los Angeles and six grandchildren. A
brother preceded her in death.
