FLORENCE STORMS
Florence Elizabeth Storms, age 77, of Adams, Wis., died Sunday, September 27,
1992, at the Villa Pines Nursing Home, following a long illness.
Her body will be cremated and a Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at
11 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 1992, at the Zion Episcopal Church in Oconomowoc.
The Rev. Arthur F. Cunningham will officiate. Her ashes will be buried on the
family lot in the Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc, on Tuesday, October 6, at
10:30 a.m. with the Rev. David Klutterman of Saint James Episcopal Church
officiating.
She was born on August 9, 1915, in Rushford, Minn., child of August and Christine
(Parkinson) Seekamp. She married Donald Gerrard Storms on February 12, 1936, at
Saint James Episcopal Church, Manitowoc. Florence lived in Winona, Minn., until
1928 and then moved to Manitowoc. She lived there until 1976 when she moved to
Oconomowoc, and then in 1987 she moved to Adams.
Florence had her degree in Nursing, and was formerly Credit Manager for Sears.
Her last occupation was secretary for the Manitowoc Engineering Company, retiring
in 1970. She was a member and officer of the League of Women Voters and Saint
Elizabeth's Guild and ECW of Saint James Episcopal Church in Manitowoc, and the
Saint Agatha's Guild and ECW of Zion Episcopal Church of Oconomowoc.
She is survived by her husband, Donald of Adams; a daughter, Kathy (Lee) Hamilton,
Adams; a son, Alan (Gail) Storms, Pittsburgh, Penn; four grandchildren and six
great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters,
Margaret and Mildred.
Memorials may be given to Zion Episcopal Church or Saint James Episcopal Church.
