Mrs. Fred Siebert, 78, of 2214 Granger Rd., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at First United Church of Christ,
Waldo Boulevard, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Schultz will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Siebert, nee Amanda Freidenbeger, daughter of the late Frank and Anna
Freidenberger, was born June 7, 1893, in the Town of Franklin. She was married
to Fred Siebert Nov. 27, 1917, in the Town of Franklin. They farmed in the Town
of Franklin until 1955 when they retired and moved to Manitowoc. She was a
lifetime member of the Ladies Aid Society of Branch.
The couple celebrated its golden wedding anniversary in 1969. Her husband preceded
her in death in December, 1971.
Survivors include a son, Earl, of Green Bay, two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Lorraine)
Stone, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, and Mrs. Jack (Annetta) Egan, of Lakewood, Calif.; a
brother, Charles Freidenberger, of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Alma Mayer, of
Reedsville; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A brother, a sister
and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 3 to 9 p.m.
Thursday until noon Friday and then at the church until the time of service.
