Frank Sepnieski Sr., 71, 919 N. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died at 6:20 p.m.
Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was a patient since
Feb 2.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. E. A. Radey will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
with military graveside rites by the Drews-Bleser American Legion Post 88. A
solemn requiem Mass will be offered next week at Holy Innocents Catholic Church,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Sepnieski was born Dec. 31, 1895, at Manitowoc, son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Sepnieski, attended St. Mary Parochial School and was owner-operator
of the Badger Hotel 36 years, retiring five years ago. He was a veteran of World
War I, having entered service Feb. 19, 1915 and was discharged May 7, 1919, as
a private first class in Co. E., 162nd Infantry. He married Nellie Lynch Jan. 16,
1919, at Winchester, England.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Frank Jr., of Manitowoc, and Patrick, of
Two Rivers; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Nora) Duben, of White Rock, N.M., and
Mrs. Helen T. Grotbeck, of Manitowoc; five brothers, Anton, Joseph and Thomas,
of Manitowoc, John, of California, and Albert of Muskegon, Mich.; three sisters,
Mrs. Albert Naus, of Random Lake, Mrs. Agnes Knoble of Menomonie, Wis., and Miss
Augusta Sepnieski of Milwaukee, 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A son, brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 8 p.m. the
Rosary will be recited.
