Mrs. Ellen (Nellie) Sepnieski, 84, a Manitowoc resident, died early Saturday morning, Nov. 5, at Manitowoc County Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, and 11:00 a.m. at Manitowoc County Health Care Center Chapel. The Rev. William Zimmer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Ellen Sepnieski, nee Ellen Lynch, was born July 27, 1899, at Whitegate County Cork, Ireland, daughter of the late Daniel and Nora Sullivan Lynch. She married Frank Sepnieski Sr., on January 16, 1919, at Winchester, England. The couple moved to this country after marriage, settling in Manitowoc. Mr. Sepnieski preceded her in death March 26, 1967. Mrs. Sepnieski was a member of Sacred Heath (sic) Parish and a past member of Sacred Heart Rosary Society.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Frank Sepnieski Jr., of Manitowoc, Patrick and Dolores Sepnieski of New Holstein, Wisconsin; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nora and Joseph Duben of Albuqurque (sic), New Mexico, and Helen T. Kunish of Manitowoc; 19 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Allen, six brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday evening, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 by Father Zimmer.
