Mrs. William E. Seibel, 90, of 706 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Sunday
afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wedneday at Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, with the Rev. William R. Harvey officiating. Burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Emily Berger was born at Two Rivers April 18, 1868, daughter
of the late Gottfried and Maria Koch Berger. She attended Two Rivers
schools and as a young woman operated a dressmaking shop in that city for
a number of years. She was married Oct. 14, 1896, to William E. Seibel at
Two Rivers. The couple lived at Milwaukee for about 10 years after marriage
and then came to Manitowoc where he established a men's clothing store. He
died in 1930.
Mrs. Seibel was a former member of the North Side Ladies Aid, the Monday
Music Club, Manitowoc Garden Club and the Elks Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. R.T. Buerstatte, and a grandson (Private).
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of service.
