ESTHER E. (WEISS) SCHWANTZ
Esther E. Schwantz, age 90, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center,
Manitowoc, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003 at Shady Lane.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St.
John Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. The Rev. Victor Headrick will officiate
with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Esther was born Dec. 16, 1912 in Manitowoc, to the late Otto and Ida Haupt
Weiss. She was a 1930 graduate of Lincoln High School. On June 25, 1932,
she married Reuben A. Schwantz in Manitowoc. Mr. Schwantz preceded her in
death March 24, 1985. Esther was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and
the church's Ladies Aid.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband, a brother: Carl Weiss; a sister:
Ruby Einberger; and a great-granddaughter: Kate Dannenberg.
