Mrs. Kenneth Schwalbe, 40, of 8139 West Bender St., Milwaukee, died Friday
afternoon at St. Michael Hospital, Milwaukee, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Carroll Erickson of Milwaukee officiating. Burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Virginia Lundstrom was born Oct. 12, 1923, at Minneapolis, daughter
of the late Carl Lundstrom and Mrs. Julia Albertson Lundstrom of Chicago. She
was married to Kenneth Schwalbe Jan. 5, 1951 at Merced, Calif. They moved to
Milwaukee in 1960.
Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Rolls of Sunray, Tex.,
Garyl, Kimberly and Karla Schwalbe at home; her mother; two brothers, Dr. Carl
Lundstrom of Denver and Richard Lundstrom of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Constance
Gabree of Wichita Falls, Tex.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
