JOHN SCHULTZ DIES SUNDAY
Lifelong County Resident To Be Buried Wednesday
John Frederick Schultz, 72, a lifelong resident of the county, died Sunday
afternoon after a lingering illness. He was born on a farm in the town of
Manitowoc northeast of the city and always resided there.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the home and at 2
o'clock from the Immanuel Lutheran church in this city. Interment will be
in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Schultz was born in 1862 and took up farming. He was married in 1890 to
Miss Minnie Nickels. The widow survives with two sons, Alfred and Arthur,
town of Manitowoc; a brother Charles, Princeton, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Julius
Thormann, Montevideo, Minn.; and four grandchildren.
The body will be removed to the home from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home Tuesday morning.
