Charles C. Schultz, age 79, formerly of Manitowoc and currently of 430 Manor
Drive, Suring, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Community Memorial Hospital in
Oconto Falls.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at 1 p.m. at The Jens
Family Funeral Home. The Rev. Marcia Solberg will officiate. Burial will follow
at Evergreen Cemetery. Military graveside services will be accorded by the VFW
Otto Oas Post 659, Manitowoc.
Charles was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Cameron, son of the late Theodure and Pearl
Doehle Schultz. Charles served in the U.S. Army Dec. 19, 1944, to Aug. 22, 1946,
and from May 2, 1947, until Nov. 30, 1965. On April 16, 1949, he married the
former June Jacobsen in Green Bay. She preceded him in death Sept. 10, 1987.
Charles was employed at the Holiday House in Manitowoc as a client evaluator for
23 years, retiring in 1988. After his retirement, Charles moved to Suring. He
was a former member of the VFW Post 0283 of Suring. Charles enjoyed reading
westerns and historical novels, fishing and camping.

also survive. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: June; and
one brother: Larry Schultz.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday (TONIGHT), Jan. 6, 2006, at The Jens
Family Funeral Home, 1122 S. 8th St., Manitowoc, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and
on Saturday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
