W. SCHROEDER, LIFE RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES
William Schroeder, lifelong resident of Manitowoc County, died at the family
home, rural Route 7, at 11:30 last evening after an illness of some weeks. The
funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon with services at the home at 1 o'clock
and at the Lutheran Church, Marshall and Eighth Streets, Rev. Karl Machmiller
officiating at 2 o'clock. Burial will be at Evergreen.
Mr. Schroeder was born in the Town of Manitowoc, December 4, 1879 and was
forty-six years old. He was married in 1907 to Mary Greenwood and the family
has always made its home on the farm in the Town of Manitowoc. Surviving are
the widow and five children, Richard, Hugo, Arnold and Ella, all at home; three
sisters, Mrs. Roland Grimm and Mrs. Chas. Liebert of this city and Mrs. John
Dufresne of Green Bay, also survive.
