Mrs. William G. Schroeder, 93, of 1814 Clark St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday
afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a three-days illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, with the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Interment will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Schroeder was born Fredericka Franke Nov. 27, 1866, at Manitowoc, daughter
of the late William and Albertina Callel Franke. She was married to William G.
Schroeder Sept. 22, 1888, at Manitowoc. The Couple moved to Chicago where it
resided for eight years before returning to Manitowoc. Her husband preceded her
in death in 1923.
Survivors included a brother, Emil of Winnipeg, Canada; a sister, Mrs. Emil
Hacker of Manitowoc; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday until the hour of
service.
