WILLIAM JOHANN SCHOKNECHT
William Johann Schoknecht, 44, of route 2, Manitowoc, died early
Saturday evening of a heart attack at his home. He was stricken
Saturday while at work in the shipping department of the Manitowoc
Ship Building Company, and died a few hours after being moved to
his home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Shimek and
Schwartz funeral home, the Rev. Henry Koch officiating. Burial will
be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Schoknecht was born in Germany in 1898 and 18 years ago came to
Manitowoc. In 1926 he married Miss Lucy Bugs.
Survivors are the widow; three sons; two daughters (Survivors omitted
for privacy.)
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from seven o'clock tonight
until the hour of the services.
