HEART ATTACK FATAL, MISS IDA SCHOCH DIES
The community was shocked today to learn of the demise of Miss Ida
Schoch, daughter of the late Christ Schoch, who passed away this
morning at six o'clock at the family home, 914 South Eleventh street.
Although she has not been in the best of health for several months,
her condition did not grow serious until three weeks ago, when she
suffered an attack of heart failure and grew steadily worse until
the end came this morning.
The deceased was 53 years of age and has always made her home in
Manitowoc. One sisters, Miss Emma Schoch, and a brother, Fred C.
Schoch survive. The latter with his wife and now motoring in Florida,
having left Manitowoc January 25 and efforts were being made today to
locate him to advise him of the death of his sister. He was to have
reached Miami, Fla., Saturday but messages there failed to reach him.
Arrangements for the funeral will not be made until further efforts
are made to locate Mr. Schoch in the south.
