Mrs. Grace A. Schoblaska, 80, of 926 N. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. William Harvey will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Schoblaska, nee Grace DeFaut, was born Feb. 20, 1893, at Whitefish Bay, Door
County, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Ann Walker DeFaut. She attended
schools in the Sturgeon Bay area. She was married to George Schoblaska Aug. 23,
1942. He preceded her in death in 1958. She was past noble grand of Rebecca Lodge
No. 18, treasurer of United Commercial Travelers, past president of National
Benefit Assn. and Women's Relief Corps of Manitowoc and a member of the Elks Lodge
Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Carmen) Kadow, of Manitowoc; a brother,
Frank, of Crivitz; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Tipler, of Sturgeon Bay and Mrs. James
Reel, of Marinette; two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
