WILLIAM ROULETTE

William "Bill" Roulette, age 66, of 1003 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, July 15, 2005 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, Manitowoc. Deacon Ken Nelesen will officiate with burial to take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Bill was born Sept. 10, 1938 in Manitowoc, son of the late Arthur and Margaret Mowbray Roulette. He attended school in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1957 from Lincoln High School. He attended Wentworth Military Academy. He was the camp ranger at Jellystone Camp Grounds in Door County. He then worked in the construction business until his retirement. Bill played for the Manitowoc County Chiefs for 14 years. In 1997, Bill was inducted into the Manitowoc Semi Pro Football Hall of Fame and in 1998 he was inducted into the American Football Association Semi Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Rick and Tina Roulette, Manitowoc; Randal and Cassie Roulette, Sarasota, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law: Robyn and Scott Popp, Scottsdale, Ariz.; six grandchildren: Kalli and Brysen Roulette, Manitowoc; Ryan and Rylee Roulette, Sarasota, Fla.; Sierra and Hunter Popp, Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Alice and Jervis Fuller, Manitowoc; Ruthanne and Allen Longmeyer, Manitowoc; and one aunt: Ruth Gaie, De Pere. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother: Robert Roulette. Relatives and friends may call at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, Manitowoc, on Thursday, July 21, 2005, from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 7:30 p.m.
