Funeral services for Rinehart Peppler, 57, of 1510 Division St., Manitowoc,
who died Friday at home, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund Olson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Peppler was born May 16, 1911, at Fort Wayne, Ind., son of the late William
Peppler and Mrs. Caroline Zollinger Peppler. He came to Manitowoc in March, 1932,
and married Irene Johnsrud Nov. 5, 1932, at Waukegan, Ill. He was employed 35
years by the National Tinsel Mfg Co. and for a short time at the Capitol Theater,
Manitowoc, until retirement. He belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie
No. 706.
Survivors include the wife; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Eileen) Jorgensen and
Miss Rhoda of Manitowoc and Mrs. Melvin (Karen) Gaestel of Green Bay; his mother;
a sister, Mrs. Elmer Frane, and a brother, Melvin of Fort Wayne, Ind., and 11
grandchildren. A brother and sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Sunday
until Monday noon and then at the church until time of services.
