George W. Pech, 67, of 322 S. 31st St, Manitowoc, died Friday evening at
Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral sevices will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul United Methodist
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Kristaps Caune will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Pech was born Dec. 27, 1903, in Manitowoc, son of the late James and
Ellen Day Pech. He graduated from Washington High School in Manitowoc in
1922 and also attended Ripon College. He was employed by the Palmolive Co.
and the Manitowoc Seed Co., returning to Manitowoc in 1930 to take employment
at Whitehouse Milk Co., where he was the general foreman.
Survivors include his wife, the former Anita Krause of Two Rivers, a son,
three daughters (Survivors omitted for privacy.), two sisters, Ethel of
Manitowoc and Mrs. Fred (Elaine) Asmus of Grosse Pointe, Mich.; three
grandsons and a grand daughter. A brother, Allison Pech, preceded him in
death.
Friends may call at the Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after
3 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church.,
Bethany Lutheran church, or the American Cancer society.
