Mrs. Earl (Edith) Meisnest, 70, of 428 N. Lake St., Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning, Nov. 20, at Park Lawn Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Phipps Memorial Chapel, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Plank will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Meisnest was born April 26, 1913, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late William and Elsie Claude Spencer. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was married to Earl J. Meisnest Aug. 6, 1940, at Chisholm, Minn. Mrs. Meisnest was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Spencer and Karen Meisnest of Manitowoc and two grandchildren, Philip Spencer and Mindy Joan Meisnest. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday evening and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and then at the church from noon until the time of services. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
