George J. Meisner, 52, of 1402 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Saturday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral,
Manitowoc. The Rev. George Knudson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Meisner was born Nov. 8, 1916, at Hiles, Wis., son of the late John and Anna
Herman Meisner. He married Pearl Belongia Nov. 14, 1953, at Port Washington. He
was a model maker at Hamilton Mfg. Co., Two Rivers, and was a member of the
Manitowoc Gun Club.
Survivors include the wife; two sons, John R. of Manitowoc, and David of Two
Rivers; six brothers, Victor and John of Manitowoc, Fred of Two Rivers, August
of Ida Grove, Iowa, Herman of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Edward of Indianapolis,
Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Leonard Scheer, of Two Rivers; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Ninth Street entrance, after 4 p.m. Sunday.
