SAD NEWS FOR WILDA FAMILY
Mrs. Blanche Korsen(sic) Dies at Milwaukee After Brief Illness
News was received here this morning of the death of Mrs. Blanche Korsen, a
resident of Milwaukee, but formerly Miss Blanche Wilda of this city, the news
being a shock to the family and many friends, who were not even appraised of
her illness. The death ends a happy union of but eight months, the wedding of
the couple being celebrated here at that time and is particularly sad for
this reason. The decedent is survived by her husband and mother, Mrs. John
Wilda, her father being deceased for some time, brother and sisters. The
funeral will take place from this city, the body being brought here for
burial.

Mrs. John Wilda received a message from Milwaukee last Friday evening conveying
the sad news of the death of her daughter Mrs. Blanche Korcian. Apparently she
had been in good health Friday morning, but when her husband returned home in
the evening he found her a corpse on the floor. It is thought that her death was
due to heart failure. Mrs. Korcian was formerly Miss Blanche Wilda. She was born
and reared in this city and her untimely death is deplored by a wide circle of
friends. She was married to Jacob Korcian of Milwaukee last May. Besides her
husband she is survived by her mother, three brothers, Emil of Winona, Rudolph
of Menominee, Mich., Charles of this city and three sisters, Mrs. A. H. McKeough
of Wausau and Misses Julia and Lillian of this city.
The funeral took place Monday afternoon from St. James Episcopal church in this
city. Rev. Rogers of Fond du Lac officiated. Interment was at Evergreen cemetery.
