Funeral Saturday for Elsie Schultz
Funeral services for Elsie Schultz, 79, formerly of 461 First St. who died Thursday, Nov. 18, at Manistee Heights Care Center will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. D.E. Cordes officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery.
Elsie Schultz was born June 5, 1897 in Manistee to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultz. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Manistee, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, August and Frank, and two sisters, Mary Anderson and Edith Hawley.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Barnett of Manistee; three sons, Howard, Ralph, and Harlan Koon of Muskegon and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also two sisters, Mrs. Selma Johnson and Mrs. Alma Sorenson of Manistee, and one brother, Fred Schultz of Manistee.
The family will be at the Johnson Funeral Home to receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
The body of Elsie Schultz will be taken to Trinity Lutheran Church Saturday to lie in state from 1:30 p.m. until time of service.
