Mrs. Martha B. Klingbiel, 88, formerly of 930 S. 24th Street, Manitowoc and now
of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, October 10, 1989 at Holy
Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday at
Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home. Rev. David L. Klutterman will
officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Klingbiel was born February 20, 1901 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late John
and Katherine Hrdina Spinker. She grew up and was educated in Manitowoc. Mrs.
Klingbiel was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company for many years, retiring in 1960.
She married Carl H. Klingbiel on August 28, 1944 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in
death June 24, 1975. Mrs. Klingbiel was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
Martha enjoyed tatting and dancing.
Survivors include a step son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd (Butch) and Marie Klingbiel
of Waukesha; a step daughter, Carol Davie of Delafield, Wisconsion; a niece,
Marlene Rosinsky and her husband Vernon of Manitowoc; a friend, Helen Strzyewski
of Manitowoc; cousins and other relatives survive. She was preceded in death by
four brothers, John, Herman, George and William Spinker and two sisters, Lillian
Spinker and Marie Wirth.
Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, 6 pm to 8 pm
Thursday and Friday until the hour of service.
