William H. Freund, age 58, of 1716 Wisconsin Ave., Manitowoc, died Sunday, August 30, 1992, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 1992, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn H. Unke officiating, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.He was born December 8, 1933, at Manitowoc, son of the late Hilary and Irene Ziebell Freund. He grew up in Manitowoc, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1952. He worked at the Schuette Construction Co., the Bahr Construction Co., retiring from the DeBarking Division of the Manitowoc Co. in August of 1991. He enjoyed fishing and spending summers at his cottage at Pigeon Lake, Wis. He was married to Dorothy A. Komorosky on January 5, 1957, in Manitowoc. He is a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, and the Manitowoc Eagles Aerie No. 706.He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Todd W. Freund, Manitowoc, Jeffrey J. Freund, Two Rivers; one sister and brother-in-law, Marian and Walter Bahr, Manitowoc; two nieces, Connie Preston, Thornfield, Mo., Margaret Anibas, Anchorage, Alaska; one nephew, Walter "Chip" Bahr, III, Milwaukee; other relatives and friends also survive.Friends may call at the Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 1992, and on Wednesday, September 2, 1992, at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.Herald Times Reporter, August 31, 1992 P.
