WM. FEHRING DIES; CAME TO COUNTY IN 1855
William Fehring, for many years a prominent farmer of the town of Kossuth and
since 1913 a resident of this city, died at his home 812 South Fourteenth
street, Saturday night after an illness of a few days.
Mr. Fehring was born at Brooklyn N.Y., June 6, 1853 and came here with his
parents as a child two years old. After retiring from the farm in Kossuth,
Mr. Fehring entered the employ of the Wisconsin Knitting Mills Co., remain-
ing there up to the time of his death. Married in 1879 to Louisa Schuette of
Kossuth. Mr. Fehring is survived by his widow and four children, Emil Fehring
of Chicago, Mrs. Evelyn Oestreich and Mrs. Olga Rad?? of this city,and Miss
Olive Fehring of Milwaukee.
Mr. Fehring was the last of five brothers of the family to pass away. The
funeral will be held from the late home Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 in the
Lutheran church, the Rev. Machmiller officiating and interment at Evergreen.
