GEORGE A. ELLIOTT

George A. Elliott, 70, (above) of 1413 South 13th St., Manitowoc, operator of
a beer distributing agency in Manitowoc for 20 years, died unexpectedly Monday
evening of a heart attack at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. John Walker will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Elliottt was born in Oconto County in 1883 and in 1923 came to Manitowoc to
establish the Elliott Beer service at his home address.
In 1908, he married Tillie Lewis. She died in 1916. In 1930 he married Mrs. Rose
Thielen. She survives with a son, Ralph Elliott of Manitowoc, three stepsons,
Raymond, Robert and Edward Thielen of Manitowoc; two brothers, Aaron of
Manitowoc and Earl of Wabeno, Wis.; sister, Mrs. Mae Colsen of Green Bay; eight
grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
