Mrs. Joseph Drida, 83, of 1618 Cherry Rd,. Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at
home.
Funeral services will beat 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. T. F. Uetzmann will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Lena Hennig was born Aug. 6, 1882, at Massilon, Ohio, daughter of
the late Richard and Anna Hesse Hennig. She came as a child with her parents
to Athen, Wis., and was married in 1901 to Joseph Drida. The couple resided
at Wausau and Athens before coming to Manitowoc in 1923. Her husband died in
1956.
She is survived by seven sons, Edward of Coleman, Wis., James, Lawrence, Joseph,
George and Clarence of Manitowoc and Stanley of Milwaukee; four daughters, Mrs.
James Ourada of Luxemburg and Mrs. Isadore Duvenck, Mrs. Louis Rugowski and Miss
Ruth Drida of Manitowoc; two brothers, Alfred of Athens and William of Stratford;
a sister, Mrs. Richard Richmond of Two Rivers; 11 grandchildren and 15 great
grandchildren.
Friends may call at MIttnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 11 a.m. Tuesday
when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state
until time of service.
