MAYME L. DOYLE

Mrs. Mary (Mame) Doyle, 91, a former Town of Cato resident, died Tuesday
afternoon at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at
9:30 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Thaddeus J. Koszarek will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Doyle, nee Mary L. Brennan, was born Sept. 30, 1883 in the Town of Cato,
daughter of the late James and Katherine Quirk Brennan. She was graduated from
Manitowoc County Normal School and had taught schools at Reifs Mills and Cato
Falls prior to her marriage to Thomas E. Doyle June 21, 1910 at Clarks Mills.
The couple operated cheese factories at Riefs Mills, Lena and Maple Grove and
also farmed in the Town of Cato before retirement. Mr. Doyle preceded her in
death Nov. 26, 1967.
Survivors include two sons, Victor, of Manitowoc and William of New Orleans, La.;
two daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Helen) Kuhn, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Donald (Evelyn)
Carlisle, of New Berlin; a sister, Mrs. Peter (Pearl) Falvey of Maple Grove and
five grandchildren. Three brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral home from 4 to 9 pm Thursday where a wake
service will be at 7:30 pm.
